imaxin|software at the ICEIS 2010.

A research article of the company imaxin|software has been accepted at the international congress ICEIS 2010, about the enterprise information systems, that will be held in Funchal (Madeira) between the 8th and the 12th of June. The title of the article is "Overcoming the scarcity of resources for minoritized languages closely related to computationally-developed languages: The Galician and Portuguese case.", and it explains that the strategy taken to elaborate an English-Galician parallel corpus was to start from an English-Portuguese corpus. This corpus will be used to create an English-Galician statistical translator of high quality.
